Now Verify your Paypal by linking your Indian Bank account, which is the easiest method for Indian user to verify and confirm your Paypal online account for more limits and much secure transactions.
Steps to Verify Paypal with Indian Bank Account:
- Login to your PayPal account
- Go to My account >> Profile >> Add/Edit Bank Account
- Then Click Add, it will ask Name, Bank name, IFSC code (Its bank unique code, get from your bank or find in internet) and Account number
- Fill all the details and click Continue and add the account
- Now again go to My account and in side bar (Notifications) click Verify Bank account
- PayPal will now send 2 small deposits to your account (below Rs 5)
- After 4-7 days check your bank transaction details, you will find 2 small deposits from PayPal
- Now Login to PayPal and enter those 2 amounts and get verified.
Thanks for your advice. Its really great & helped me to add my bank account with paypal. I was trying with the debit card and all the time it was unsuccessful. May i know what is the advantage with credit/debit card over this process or vice versa.
I recently have verified my PP account with HDFC bank account.
Q1. Do I need add money to my PP account for online shopping?
If yes, upon trying to add funds to PP account The ADD FUNDS TAB says “PayPal does not currently offer the ability to add funds from your bank account.”
Q2. Now does it make compulsory to add credit card to PP (which I don’t have) to add money (for online shopping)? OR I can shop without funds being added to my PP account and PP will itself debit it from my bank account.
If Yes, How paypal can debit the amount directly from anyone’s bank account, obviously Bank will not let anyone to online deduct money from any account especially without knowing login ID & password.
