Steps to eject stuck CD/DVD from Apple MacBook Pro:

  • Press And Hold The Eject Button
  • Restart the computer. When you hear the chime, hold down the trackpad button (the eject key also works) as your Mac restarts. It will eject the disc.
  • If the tray is going back gently stretch the opening enough to give the disc room and eject it. Once its out enough for you to grab it, slowly pull it out if its stuck.
  • Drag the super drive CD icon to the trash can., it will eject.
  • Connect external mouse and hold the mouse button during a reboot (restart).
  • Stick the credit car in the SuperDrive’s slot, press the eject key and once felt pressure on the card pull it out, along with the CD.
