Here is one of the review social media xchange India Ads company by a user:-
I am currently doing some analysis of SMX-Web AdNetwork. They are one of the popular advertising companies focusing in India.
Social Media Exchange (SMX-Web) was formerly known as Axill India. Axill India changed their name to Social Media Exchange in September 2008. One of the strange things about SMX-Web is, they maintain 2 different AdNetworks for CPM and CPA based Ads. This is a pain for publishers to manage 2 different accounts.
I applied for the CPA network in August 2008 and got approval within 3 days. Their welcome email was quite interesting, but the broken English in their email dis appointed me in the beginning itself. See some portion of the welcome email from Axill India:
But, please remember that Axill will not tolerate any kind of fraud or We strongly believe that you would cooperate with us
Even though I got approval, I did not try to use them until I got a reminder from them in August 2008. The reminder email came with some information about their Ad network:
. Axill India has emerged as the most preferred and largest publisher network in India with a reach of over 60% of total Internet users in India.
. Axill India now has more than 1000 publishers.
. Axill India now has over 1 Billion impressions coming out of the network per month
Even though I did not (I still do not) believe their claims, I decided to give it a try.
I generated tags for their CPM ads, integrated with our site and went to sleep hoping to see some extra revenue next day. I preferred CPM Ads because our site has very good page views, but members are smart enough to NOT click on any Ads!
I woke up the next day to see few surprises. The traffic in the site was reduced by around 25%. My email inbox was flooded with emails complaining about the problems in the site. With little research I could find what is happening. While visiting any pages in the site, visitors are getting a strange javascript message asking “one of our member want to chat with you, press OK or cancel”. No matter what we button we press, it will ask the same question few times. Then it does nothing. Users cannot navigate away to another page. It did not even allow to close the browser!
I had no clue that all these are caused by the Axill Ads until I spent few hours to pinpoint that this was caused by a specific CPM Ad from Axill. Immediately I wrote to the Axill asking them remove this particular Ad since their interface did not have an option to selectively block Ads. The response I got from Axill was this:
Its already 10:30 pm here in India and there is anything at this moment that I could do. And they suggested me to remove their tags from the site until they resolve the issue. After this bitter experience, I removed Axill India Ads from our site.
But, The Axill India Ads has now been re branded as social media xchange and the reports are still to be out. As soon as we receive report or proof, we will post it in this website.

I am using smx web since one month. I got tremendous response for CPM. I have about 1 million page views per month. I got equal revenue from smx and Adsense…
According to raj, who posted this news may be his person experience.. After reading his message, i came to know that axil (presently smx) has changed their campaign for this regard..
