How To Switch (Turn) Off or Disable WiFi in BSNL Modem

If you are not using BSNL Wifi modem for Wireless Laptop or mobile then you must turn off it. To switch off or disable WiFi in the BSNL type 2 modem u need to enter the setting of modem.

Steps to Disable WiFi in BSNL Modem:

Open internet browser and type http://192.168.1.1/ and press Enter.
Enter username and password in the pop-up Dialog. (Default will be admin/admin).
Click ‘Wireless’ or ‘Configuration’ from the left side menu.
Then Uncheck “Enable Wireless” checkbox and click “save/apply”.
If you have new type of modem in your setting you will find Wireless network in configuration, you must then click disable and save.
Now check that the Wifi green light, it must be off, That’s all.
