How to Stop (Block) Flash Service SMS of Vodafone India. Many suscribers of the Vodafone network in India are getting service Advertisement as polls, quiz, questions as flash SMS and when you press OK button you will be charged.

Here are the steps to block those flash SMS:

1. Go to Menu from your mobile phone.

2. Then click on Vodafone services

3. Then click on first option FLASH!

4. Then you will see Activation as first option click it and press Deactivate

5. Then you can also see My topics in your FLASH! option

6. Then set all the services as OFF

    hi everyone!i was able to do it correctly in my nokia 2700 classic,but now i have samsung wave 525,so please help me where to find the vodafone service in this smartphone.
    it would be even better if anybody gives a first hand opinion regarding this phone.

    Mine is an older nokia handset which does not have the vodafone services in menu. So, I called up 198 toll-free and disabled the annoying flash sms. Ahhhhh….peace at last.

    vodafone has put the Flash message services in my numbers by default without intimation to me. these messages are not for free of cost. customer will be charged with 3 Rs if clicks OK. These messages are very much disturbing. and to deactivate this service, the customers are being charged 3Rs unnecessarily. This kind of services should be stopped. Every company should respect the interest of the customers before burdening them with unnecessary default services. Please take necessary action against such service providers and save the customers. my number is 9713918090 plz stop all service message in this number……
