Learn How to Add Meta Tags to Blogger (Blogspot) for better SEO and better Google and other search engine rankings.

Follow the following steps:

1. Login to your Blogger account.

2. Click on ‘Layout’ and select ‘Edit HTML’ tab.

3. Search for the following code (The code will be in top side):

<b:include data=’blog’ name=’all-head-content’/>

4. Now place the following code just below the above code:

<meta content=‘DESCRIPTION HERE’ name=”description”/>
<meta content=’KEYWORDS HERE‘ name=”keywords”/>
<meta content=‘AUTHOR NAME HERE‘ name=”author”/>

Place the code as shown in the below figure:

Now just change the bold with your own text. For example if you got a beauty tips blog then -

Replace “DESCRIPTION HERE” with “Get all your Beauty tips at one blog here. We provide Beauty tips for body, skin, eye, hair and lips”

Replace “KEYWORDS HERE” with “Beauty tips, fashion tips, beauty care, skin care”

Replace “AUTHOR NAME HERE” with “manish”

The above explanation is just an example of the beauty blog which is run by manish, so your blog will be different and give appropriate description (Limit description to two lines) and keywords (enter comma between two keywords, you may give any number of keywords, don’t repeat keywords as it will make negative effect to your blog by search engines)

After you complete, save your template. Thats all, but note that your description may appear in search engines within some days or it may delay. If you have any doubts ask via comments.
