Google Search Engine Logo using 100% CPU Usage? When i opened the Google search today, i saw that my computer has slowed down and my CPU was using 100% memory, see below screen shot.

Firstly i could not understand what was the reason, but when i saw a animated buckyball in Google’s logo , i closed that tab of Google home page. Suddenly my CPU usage came down to normal. I was wondering so i again opened my home page (Google) and again my CPU usage went up to 100%. This was due to Buckyball animated logo in Google for 25th anniversary?. I don’t know how may of you have encountered this type of problem. I asked one of my friend, he said he was also experiencing the same when Google logo was PAC-MAN game animation during PAC-MAN’s 40th anniversary. I have found that the logo is not Flash nor animated GIF. So i set my home page as www.google.co.in/search?q=google instead of www.google.co.in, till tomorrow so that when i hit home in internet browsers i will not have any problem. If anyone have encountered this type of problem and has solution, please share in comments.

yes bro
i am also facing the same problem. the bucky ball logo eats 100% cpu usage.
try not open the google front page
The ball freezes me also.
My browser opened on google homepage and suddenly everything was in sloooow motion!!
Checked and found it was the google animated buckyball logo causing the problem. It wasn’t difficult to circumvent, however.
I like google products a lot but find this disconcerting to say the least.
Same thing here with buckyball! Enough to make me seriously consider trashing Google homepage!
